Why a complete remodel beats piecemeal projects
Adding a patio one year and lighting the next usually means tearing up finished work to run new lines. When we remodel a backyard, we plan the infrastructure first (drainage, irrigation, gas, electrical and lighting) so it all goes in once, correctly, before the finished surfaces.
Designed around how you use the space
We organize the backyard into zones: a place to cook and dine, a place to gather around a fire, space for kids or pets, and planting that provides privacy and color. The result feels like an extension of the home rather than a collection of features.
What to Expect When You Work With Us
- Consultation: we walk the property with you, listen to your goals and assess slopes, drainage, sun and existing trees.
- Design: our designer develops a plan for layout, hardscape, planting, irrigation, drainage and lighting.
- Construction: our in-house crew builds the project, and your designer stays involved through completion.
- Ongoing care: our residential maintenance program keeps the landscape performing, with irrigation and lighting audits three times a year.
Because we handle design and construction in-house, backyard remodels can be planned together with the rest of your landscape, including grading, drainage, irrigation and lighting, so everything is installed once and installed correctly. Since 1972, Del Conte’s M&H has focused on high-end residential work, and our long-time managers bring decades of experience to every project.
